Religion in Malawi is a diverse and integral part of the country's culture. Over 80% of the population identifies as Christian, with nearly 60% Protestant, 20% Catholic, and 1% other denominations. The remaining population is mainly Muslim, with small populations of Hindu and Baha'i.
