ZASOLAR is a youth-led enterprise that’s all about enhancing access to renewable energy technologies in underprivileged rural areas in Malawi.

Our story is founded on selfless efforts our founding CEO; Fishani Msiska made in his hay days.

A devout social entrepreneur and solar enthusiast whose goal is to distribute technologies in rural areas as a way of contribution towards sustainable development. Fishani grew up in a rural set up, where he used paraffin for lighting; while times have passed and some things changed there are still many families, women, children and youth living in darkness and using unsustainable sources of power.

Fishani’s story of passion and dedication has survived fear of failure through self-learning, practicing and mastering to find ZASOLAR. An enterprise which has at its core the life of theunderprivileged rural Malawians. Fishani’s academic qualification is in accounting but he found passion in computers, electricity and electronics with a particular focus and interest in solar power. Throughout his life he has taught himself how to fix and troubleshoot computer problems, electrical and electronics basics and solar installation, he finally decided to take a leap in 2018 to focus on solar enterprising.
