Editor Responsibilities

•    Provide detailed editorial feedback on narrative structure, argumentation, pacing, and overall cohesion
•    Suggest revisions to strengthen the book's impact and persuasiveness
•    Ensure consistency in style, tone, and messaging throughout the book
•     Collaborate closely with the author through multiple draft rounds to elevate the work

Remuneration

    US$4,000 to US$5,000, depending on experience and effort

Required Skills and Experience

•    Excellent writing and editing skills
•     Experience as a journalist, copywriter, or editor
•    Strong grasp of narrative structure and argumentative writing
•    Ability to provide constructive criticism while respecting the author's vision
•     Exceptional communication skills for productive collaboration
• Collaboration and Timeline
•    Begin working immediately, with a target publication-ready manuscript deadline of May 31st, 2024
•    Communicate via messaging, email, video calls, and shared documents (Living Writer)
•    Thrice weekly 15-minute check-ins and 3-4 hours of video call time for in-depth reviews and brainstorming
•    Open to adjusting communication schedule to maintain productive momentum
