Reviews of Modern Tiles - Lilongwe

I bought (two) five Thousand Litres water tanks at Morden tiles shop in Lilongwe in May. I installed the tanks in August and started using them for irrigation at my farm. barely after 3 months the water busted after a fill of 5000 litres of water. I went to the shop managers to complain and I had shown them the pictures of my tank and how it got busted. They told me to bring the tank to their shops despite.

When I did this they told me there is nothing they can do because they are just distributors and not manufacturers. they referred me to talk to the manufacturers despite my resistance. I went to the manufacturers who argued that they don't deal with customers directly. In this case it was the distributor who was supposed to get in touch with them and not me.

My main concern are
Firstly, Paying Mk300 000.00 and only using it for 3 months is a very big loss on my part as a small scale farmer. I anticipated the tanks to durable than the case
Secondly, there was no need for shop keepers to advise me to bring the tank to their office after seeing the picture on how it busted and yet they knew there is nothing they would do about it. Transporting the tank from my Farm to their shop is an addition cost which will be painful to shoulder.
Thirdly, on a business and marketing point of view, I felt abused and mismanaged by being pushed back and forth by business partners instead of the seller sorting me out once and for all. Time spent and resources used to move back and forth is an extra loss to my business.
Fourthly, from the time of busting to the time they told me they cant do anything on it, my crops were drying thereby affecting my farm productivity. I would appreciate being told told the company stand right away rather than sugar coating the statements as if something would be done.

I would appreciate if Modern tiles consider giving conditional guarantees to water tanks rather than following a principle of goods once bought are not returnable regardless of the structure and factory errors of the Tank.
