Priest properties Nottingham is the most unhelpful and incompetent letting agency I've ever been dealing with.
I was renting a property managed by them and was really unhappy with their services.
First of all it took them ages to get all the references needed for me to move in even though I gave them all the contact number they asked for.
Then I had few problems in the flat that had to be fixed. The main one was the front door wish was impossible to use correctly. I sometimes had to spend 10 min trying to open it. It took them 3 months to fix it and I had to threaten to stop paying the rent. During this period I emailed, called them but never had an answer except the out of office automatic reply.
Once my year contract over, it was suppose to be a month rolling contract. Even though it was written and signed by them they tried their best to make me think I had to renew it for another year and it wasn't possible to have a monthly rolling contract.
When I moved out I again had problem with them. They tried to make me pay for damages already there when I moved in. I cleaned the flat perfectly but unfortunately forgot to wipe the oven inside glass. I politely ask them if there was any chance to go back to the property and just clean it in 5 min time, they refused and told me I'll be charged for that.
Finally it took them 1 month to give me back my deposit.
I will not recommend Priest Properties and encourage people to find another letting agent. There are plenty others providing great services.
